Our Mission
The Tennessee Valley Passenger Rail Coalition exists to champion the restoration and expansion of passenger rail service through the Tennessee Valley. We believe that rail is essential infrastructure, just like roads. It is our mission to advocate for investments that connect communities, support economic growth, reduce long-term maintenance burdens, and offer Tennesseans a reliable, sustainable, and competitive transportation choice. Our coalition brings together citizens, civic leaders, and transportation experts to make passenger rail a cornerstone of 21st-century mobility in the Volunteer State.
